Four moms with no experience in building anything but Lego towers, decided to raise $250,000 to build a new playground in town. Our first and most important objective was to find the right person to help guide us through this monumental project. After interviewing five companies, we decided on Childscapes without a moment of hesitation. We never regretted that early decision.

We chose Childscapes for a number of reasons. His design provided the most amount of play space and equipment on our limited budget. His proposal was prompt and complete with all the elements we had noted as priorities. We were also impressed with Childscapes professionalism and his heart felt confidence regarding the Burke line of products.

As the project got underway, Childscapes was extremely flexible in making changes to the design and keeping us posted on the status of the work. I always new they were only a phone call away and that I would get a return call as soon as possible. The project was completed by our deadline and we had a great opening day!

This project had the potential to be a major nightmare but thanks in large part to Childscapes work this was never the case. I would do another project with Childscapes in a heartbeat.

We just completed 28 playscapes using Childscapes and BCI Burke equipment. Childscapes was a great company to work with. The staff and installers are CPSI certified as am I. The City of Danbury hired a consultant originally who recommended that we use Burke Equipment. They are one of the original play equipment companies in business for over eighty years. I found that their engineering department and customer service were outstanding. Childscapes supplied CAD drawings and complete layouts to fit each site. I would not use a consultant again. We did almost one million dollars with Childscapes including also two Water Spray Parks. Their equipment is also on the State Bid List. We also constructed the first 100% Handicap Accessible Playscape at our Magnet School with Childscapes spearheading the project through the State of Connecticut Architecture Review Board. I interviewed several other companies and went with Childscapes as their reputation and integrity is not matched in my opinion and we will continue to do business with them in the future.

How do I say, "Thank you" for all that you have done? While the physical structure of the playground is, indeed, a testimony to your extraordinary efforts, what is not so visible but just as extraordinary is the 'esprit de corps' that you cultivated amongst all the volunteers. Working on the playground over the weekend was a great experience, one that will long be remembered by everyone who contributed. It was a thrill to participate.

The Primary children were delightful to watch today as they scampered with abandon from one activity to another. Unfortunately, as the rain picked up, the equipment became wet and slippery so the Intermediate children had recess indoors. We'll hope for better weather tomorrow.

Thank you for the pictures. It will take awhile to review them all, but the ones I've seen capture nicely the joy that can be found on the playground, right along with each piece of equipment.

Kudos to all of you! I hope the satisfaction you should feel from a job superbly done offsets any aching bones or blisters you are enduring from the weekend. On behalf of the Greenwood School faculty and students, I extend my deepest gratitude.

cannot thank you enough for all your help on Saturday. I knew your company Childscapes would be there to supervise, but you certainly put in a full day of work.
