Tim Pesko, C.P.S.I. & President of Design Built LLC merged entities with  CSC, Inc. and professional do business as Childscapes.  Tim has worked in the commercial playground industry for more than 7 years installing playground and water park equipment for Childscapes throughout New England.

Bill Eckhardt

William R. Eckhardt, Founder of Childscapes, entered the park and playground industry in New England over twenty-two years ago while tending to his own backyard and his twin girls. He has aligned himself with the industry’s finest manufacturers who share his vision of service and quality.

Bill’s expertise and knowledge of the playground industry and his “hands on” approach have consistently provided his customers with a “friendly shopping experience.” NPSI certified and OSHA trained, Mr. Eckhardt has become an invaluable resource to many. Bill has led a comprehensive seminar for Bright Horizons Family Solutions addressing trends in the industry, safety and maintenance protocol and CPSC and ADAAG compliance. He has also been asked by the Boston Parks Department to spearhead a maintenance-training seminar. In 2006 Bill Eckhardt was awarded The Burke Choice Award for outstanding contributions and innovations to the playground industry.

Bill’s generosity of spirit and resources have taken imagination to reality. As past President of the Marshfield Kiwanis, he creatively and tirelessly sought unique opportunities to support the Pediatric Trauma Center and his community. Selling Christmas trees, building accessible ramps for the physically challenged, sponsoring golf tournaments – to name a few. He has donated equipment, installation /supervisions and money to the Marshfield Skate Park Alliance, Trinity Church, Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, Autism Research, The American Red Cross, Head Start, Senior Scholarship Funds, Make a Wish Foundation and many other child-related charities. Bill is currently a member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Marshfield Kiwanis, NRPA, MRPA, RIRPA, CRPA, VRPA and New England Park Association.

John Wesley Lee. (Wes). Our Professional Playground Sales Representative for the Childscapes Connecticut territory entered the park and playground industry in New England more than 7 years ago. Wes has two grandchildren and simply points to them when asked why and how he became involved in the business of playgrounds, parks and recreation. His background is manufacturing and technical sales in the aerospace and automotive industry, but his “passion” is for the enjoyment of all children at play .

Wes understands the need to provide a fun and safe environment for play. His understanding of how things “go together” and the requirements for getting the project done are second nature to Wes. Helping groups from schools to architects to understand the “nuts and bolts” of a playground is always his focus. His expertise and knowledge of the playground industry has earned Wes the finest reputation within Connecticut .

Wes works to ensure that from “ Imagination to Installation” the visions of his customers to provide a safe and fun environment for all children is in fact what comes to life in each and every playground… and exceeds their expectations each and every time !

She is a little shy!

Elizabeth M. Connors (Betsy). Our Childscapes Operations Manager .Betsy has been with Childscapes for more than 20 years! Well versed with years of industry knowledge as a Park and Playground Professional Betsy oversees all of our Childscape’s installation projects. She interfaces with each and every customer along with our certified Installation Crews to ensure successful and timely completions of our projects. Betsy began years ago taking responsibility for the bookkeeping at Childscapes and has increased her responsibilities throughout her years. There is nothing that Betsy cannot do. Known for her most personable, knowledgeable and friendly style Betsy has a reputation for delivering successful projects every time along with delivering the highest levels of one on one customer service along the way!
